Managing Partner

Edward Fiawoo is the Managing Partner of the firm. Edward has wide-ranging experience in International Arbitration, Mediation, Negotiation and Corporate and Commercial Law. He has worked on several deals on the Ghanaian market and is a highly regarded corporate lawyer of international repute, has a fervent commitment to providing commercial solutions to clients challenges, and is adept at handling conflicts of various natures including institutional, business, corporate, family disagreements, among others.
Edward graduated from the University of Ghana, Legon with LLB Degree in 2001and the Ghana School of Law (QCL) in 2003. He further pursued and obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) Degree, focusing on Corporate and Commercial Law at the University of London, UK, in 2005. He then enrolled at the Legon Centre for International Affairs and Diplomacy, LECIAD, University of Ghana, for a Master of Arts and Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in International Affairs, completing in 2006. Edward holds additional educational and professional certifications such as a Certificate in Armed Conflict, Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, HREA USA, 2007; a Certificate in Human Rights Monitoring, HREA USA, 2007; Certificate in Corporate Governance, Institute of Directors, Ghana, 2008; Certificate in STO Election Observation, with International Alert, UK, 2008; Certificate in International Negotiation with the United Nations Institute of Training and Research, UNITAR in 2009 and Certificate, International Air Law for Lawyers held in Accra by IATA in 2009.
Furthermore Edward holds qualifications in Oil and Gas, having obtained a Certificate in that area from the Rocky Mountain Mineral Foundation, Colorado, USA in 2009. He is a trained person in Mediation from the University of Connecticut and the University of Quinnipiac, Colorado, USA (2012) and has a Certificate in International Environmental Law from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research. He is an alumnus of the Defence Institute of Legal Studies, Rhode Island, USA, where he obtained a certificate in the course, Legal Aspects of Combating Corruption in 2016. He also holds a Certificate in Advance Course in International Humanitarian Law, Sanremo, Italy (2013).
Edward has held the appointments of Director Army Legal Affairs and then Director of Legal Services of the Ghana Armed Forces. Currently he is in the position of Judge Advocate General of the Ghana Armed Forces. He has given many lectures on Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law at the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College. He has also, over the years, taught on the Rule of Law Courses at the Kofi Anan International Peacekeeping Centre, Accra.
Currently, Edward is a member of professional bodies as such the Ghana Bar Association, Institute of Directors, Ghana; Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK and the Institute of Professional Financial Managers, UK. He is a member of the Judicial Council of Ghana. He has previously served as a member on the Divestiture Implementation Committee, Ghana and the Defence Tender Committee of the Ghana Armed Forces, among others.



Robert undertakes broad range of corporate and commercial work. He advises extensively on estate transactions, negotiation and drafting of documents, contract administration and legal advice. Robert is acknowledged as a leader in litigation and dispute resolution.
Robert has therefore become a recognised leader in litigation and dispute resolution, having wide experience in the practice, and has earned praise for his due diligence.
Robert graduated from the University of Ghana, Legon with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science degree, in 2001; Bachelor of Law degree (LLB) in 2004; and then obtained his BL from the Ghana School of Law in 2006 and admitted to the Ghana Bar same year. Prior to obtaining his professional qualification in Journalism, Political Science and Law, Robert worked extensively with the Registrar Generals Department specifically the Administration of Estates Section for about 25 years. He has indepth knowledge in Company Registration, Trade Marks and Intellectual Property.
Robert has also worked as the Senior Legal Officer at the Ghana Tourism Authority
Roberts area of expertise is Company and Commercial Law and Litigation and Dispute Resolution.
He is a member of Ghana Bar Association and Ghana Journalists Association.



Sylvia graduated from the University of Ghana, Legon with a Bachelor of Law degree (LLB) in 2001; Ghana School of Law (QCL 2003) and obtained a Master of Arts in Social Policy Studies in 2009 at the University of Ghana. She engaged in court room practice for 3 years where she focused on litigation and provided legal advice on commercial, employment, family, property and succession, criminal and land law, personal injury claims and professional negligence to clients. She prepared legal opinions memoranda, agreements and contracts and facilitated the incorporation of both local and international companies in Ghana.With over 14 years of knowledge and experience in Economic, Social and Cultural Right, Strategic Planning and Development, Gender Equality and Development, Project Development and Management and Peace and Security issues, all gained from experienced Instructors from the Institute for Human Rights, Abo Akademi University, Finland, Human Rights Education Association (HREA) and the Centre on Housing Rights and Evictions (COHRE), a Geneva based non-governmental organization and the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre, Sylvia has mastered the art and skills of providing excellent strategic legal advice, training, research and direction to Partners and Clients in need of such services.Her amazing contribution to the advancement and the visibility of womens housing, land and property rights in Africa and globally, thorough advocacy, training, research, evaluation and her expertise in the submission of relevant reports to the African Commission on Human and Peoples Rights (ACHPR) and the African Union, United Nations Human Rights Treaty Monitoring Bodies such as the Human Rights Committee, the Committee on the Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), and the UN Universal Periodic Review, the World Bank Inspection Panel provides a basis for clients to tap into these myriad of skillful expertise which in no doubt is a great asset to the company.With her affable nature, Sylvia has travelled extensively within Africa, the US and Europe and worked with people, from multi-cultural and multi-social backgrounds from all over the world and therefore ,has the ability to provide different perspectives to clients' services from different countries and different cultures.
